Arifureta Season 3 Release Date Situation and Possibility!

So winter 2022 anime slate are on final week and anime fans around the world are saying their final goodbyes to their favorite series. Or so it seems with news of many series getting a new season. Fans of Arifureta from commonplace are eager for season three. While Arifureta season three is yet to be confirmed, fans are confident that the anime will return one day.

Thanks to the availability of source material from the original light novel series arifuretta season 2 started airing on January 13, 2022 having 12 episodes on this season. The final episode of season 2 have aired on March 31, 2022. Sadly there hasn’t been any official announcement for season three yet but it’s safe to assume that a new season will be in production. Soon the official website of the anime announced on Thursday that the Arifureta light novel series will be getting a new ova very soon. The ova is expected to release in the summer of 2022 and a teaser trailer was released alongside the announcement. While there is no official news concerning or if you’re at a season three the future remains extremely bright for Hajime and you as they prepare for a third set of adventures. This is because the anime adaptation of the Arifureta light novel series by Ryo Shirakami still hasn’t adapted the entire story despite some minor chopping and changing of events throughout the most recent broadcast.

The season 2 finale finished adapting the sixth volume of the light novel series. The good news is that as of March 2022, 12 volumes have been published in Japan. Meaning there is enough source material to potentially start production on a Arifureta season 3 straight away all too often in the anime industry. Series are shelved because production companies need to wait for more source material to be published before they can start working on the next season however with there arguably being enough content straight away for another 12 episode production this could encourage studio Azriath and studio Mother to immediately give season three. Arguably being the best of the rest this includes a solid if not slightly underwhelming 7.04 on my anime list, 7.2 on Imdb and 7.7 on rattan graph considering the availability of source material decent performance with fans and the fact that studio Azriath hasn’t publicly stated their next production. It’s a safe bet that Arifureta will eventually return for season three, but the main question is when.
