Hello everyone I hope you are doing well. So it’s been a few years now since the third season of Bungou Stray Dogs was released. It aired in the spring of 2019 where we got only 12 episodes. It was studio Bones who produced the first three seasons of the Anime Bungou Stray Dogs. Even the upcoming season will be done by them which was confirmed last year in November during the announcement of season four.
About Bungou Stray Dogs Season 3…
The third season of the anime Bungou Stray Dogs adapted the 15 Arc, The Guild Aftermath Arc and The Cannibal Arc from the source material. It covered till chapter 53 or you can say volume 13 of the Manga. The Manga has currently got 22 volumes and it is still ongoing. So there’s plenty of source material available for not only season 4 but also a fifth season. Anyway now talking about the release date as of now while I am writing this article the release date for season 4 is still not confirmed. But we have got some upcoming events where we can expect to get some new information about the new season of the anime. Crunchyroll is set to have its own Expo this year in August and a Bungou Stray Dogs panel will be held at this event.
The president of Studio Bones Masahiko Manami and the producer Chiaki Hurricane will be present there and will discuss the latest season of the anime. They also confirmed that they will reveal some new information about the upcoming season there including giveaways for the fans. So we are hoping that this is where they will probably give us the release date for season four. Also there’s a high possibility of getting a new trailer too.
The Bungou Stray Dogs panel will take place on the 5th of August. So let’s wait till then and see if we get some new updates or not. As soon as they reveal any info about the release date or the trailer we will let you know.
