Despite being hyped for the release of season 2 after a long time of waiting, the series is getting serious backlashes and criticism for some major issues. In today’s article we are going to talk about the reasons why Classroom of the Elite season 2 is getting such receptions.
So without further ado let’s jump into the topic. Classroom of the Elite follows the story of Kiyotaka Ayanokoji, a High School Student with unrivaled intelligence facing many obstacles in an Elite School. Where students are given a high degree of freedom in order to closely mimic real life. Season 1 of Classroom of the Elite Season 2 was aired in 2017 at that time the anime received high praise for its excellent plot. After five years of waiting season two finally aired in July 2022 produced by Studio Lerche, the same studio which produced the first season. But unlike the first season, the second season has received huge criticisms. Fans are outraged on social media for fast pacing and poor animations. The season didn’t give any proper reintroduction at the beginning of the season or some kind of break to focus on genuine character interactions. Even without reading the light novel it’s hard not to notice the fast pacing.
Fans are complaining about the episodes being poorly executed and not having suspense like the first season. Many fans agree that the season two feels so plastic and forced also the second season is getting backlashes for poor animation and character design.
Not to mention that many characters are poorly developed who were crucial in the Light Novel especially Horikita and Sudou. To see the anime in such a poor state fans are extremely disappointed and many are suggesting to start the Light Novel instead of watching Classroom of the Elite Season 2 season two. About the anime we have now got eight episodes left before the second season comes to an end.
