In light of this, we now have some new information about the upcoming season of the anime Classroom of the Elite. The first season of this anime was released in 2017. Finally, after nearly five years, Classroom of the Elite is making a comeback with seasons two and three. The second season will premiere in the summer of 2022, and the third season will premiere in 2023, as it was previously confirmed. The precise release date for the upcoming Season has not yet been announced. But on May 30, they formally revealed the exact date for the premiere of Season 2’s first episode.
On their official twitter account, they have shared an updated key visual with a caption saying ” Introducing Megumi Kuruizawa, finally Karuizawa appears in the animation project visual. Karuzowa has a bad personality but is located at the top of class D. I love fashion and dating Yosuke Hirata in the same class. Don’t miss Karuizawa who is the focus of attention in the second season “. I am not sure if the tweeter translation is perfect or not. Because twitter is saying that Karuizawa has a bad personality while Google is saying she has a good personality. Of course, anime fans like myself have no clue which option is accurate. I guess we will find out once the second season starts premiering.
On their official website, they have already confirmed that the first episode of season two will be released on the 4th of July. So starting in the first week of July, a new episode of Classroom of the Elite will show every Monday. As of right moment, there is no official confirmation of the number of episodes. All of the first-year Light novels will be adapted for Seasons two and three, as was previously confirmed. As a result, they must now adapt eight volumes of content in just two seasons.
In case you didn’t know, the first year Light novel of Classroom of the Elite has got 11 volumes in total. There is also a second year light novel which is still ongoing and has currently got six volumes. Season one of the anime adapted only first three volumes from first year Light Novel. So now they will have to adapt volume four to volume 11 in season 2 and season 3. There are some additional volumes too like 4.5, 7.5 and 11.5 but we don’t really know if they will adapt them or not. They are probably best suited for extra episodes like side stories or ova. Even though there’s now more content available compared to the first season. My guess is we will probably get only 12 or 13 episodes in each season. But again it’s not officially confirmed yet we will probably get official information on episode count. Once the second season starts premiering. As soon as we get any updates on season 2 of the Classroom of the Elite, we will let you know.
