Hello everyone, hope you’re all doing great as usual. So first of all before we talk about the updates on Demon Slayer Season 3 from Anime Expo 2022,
I would like to clarify something. Recently I have noticed that a key visual is being shared by a lot of fans on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook and it is being called the new key visual for Demon Slayer Season 3. Not only some accounts and pages are claiming that this is the new key visual for the upcoming season of Demon Slayer but also they are saying that the third season of Demon Slayer has been scheduled for 2023. Now the question is, Are they really telling the truth here?
Since Anime Expo 2022 just took place recently. Many fans thought that this is where probably the new key visual for season three was unveiled. But the truth is we did not get any new key visual for demon slayer season 3 in the anime expo event. This key visual that many people on the internet are sharing is just a fan art. We can clearly see that the art style in the poster is not similar to what we have seen in the past key visuals. The original creator of this fan art is a tik toker named Hanjizpe. Obviously I can’t pronounce the name correctly but you can see her tik tok tag on the screen. Now going back to Anime Expo 2022, all of us were hoping that in Anime Expo they would probably give us some new info about Demon Slayer Season 3.
Anime Expo 2022 Update on Demon Slayer Season 3
So let’s see what happened in the Demon Slayer panel at Anime Expo 2022. It was the voice actor of Tanjiro – Natsuki Hanae and the producer Yuma Takahashi who were present as special guests at the Demon Slayer panel. They met their fans and talked to them about a lot of stuff including the production in the anime. Later we got to see a special video message from the cast of Zenitsu, Inosuke and Nezuko. They talked about their performance in the past two seasons and etc. At the end of the panel, Anaplex shared a clip of the Swordsmith Village Arc with the fans which is basically the first trailer for season three that was revealed back in April. Other than that we did not get to see anything new in the Demon Slayer panel at Anime Expo 2022. They did not reveal any new information related to season three nor did we get any new trailer or any key visual for the upcoming season.
About the release date, I have seen some people saying that Demon Slayer season 3 has been scheduled for 2023. But the truth is, the release date for season three has not been officially announced yet. So whether Demon Slayer next season will release in 2023 or not we still don’t know. Personally I don’t think that they will make us wait till 2024. But again for now nothing is confirmed. As soon as we get any new update on season 3 or any upcoming events of Demon Slayer we will let you know.
