So finally, we have got some new updates on the upcoming season of Demon Slayer anime the Swordsmith Village Arc. A few weeks ago, we informed you about the third year anniversary festival of demon slayer anime which was held just recently on April 16th and 17th. So in this article we are going to cover all the updates we got from the festival about demon slayer season 3.
It was already announced earlier that on the first day of the event they would mainly focus on the second season of the anime, the Entertainment District Arc and then on the second day it will be about the first season of the anime, the Infinity Train Arc even though this event mainly focused on the first two season of the anime. We already knew that they would at least reveal something about the upcoming season and they actually did give us something which is the first trailer of demon slayer season three. This trailer is two minutes 49 seconds long and it is available on their official twitter account, also on official youtube channel of Anaplex. The first half of the trailer is basically a recap version of what happened in the first two seasons and the last minute is where we get to see the main footage of season three which includes Tanjiro, Mist Hashira MUICHIRO TOKITO and Love Hashira MITSURI KANROJI.
Now going back to the event everyone has been asking what else was announced during the festival. Did we get any new key visual, did they announce the broadcast date for season three. Sadly we have to tell you that the only thing they revealed at this festival is the new trailer for season three which we already talked about earlier. There was no mention of the release date nor did we get a new key visual for the upcoming season. But now they have already released the official trailer for season three it makes it easier for us to guess the release schedule for the upcoming season.
The announcement for the swordsmith village arc was made in February and they have already released the first trailer for it in April 2022. So our prediction is the third season of demon slayer anime will probably release in early 2023 it can be either winter 2023 or spring 2023. But again the release date has not been officially confirmed yet. Also the last thing I wanted to mention is that, there’s another event coming for demon slayer very soon. It’s going to be an exhibition which will take place this wednesday on the 20th of april if we get any new info there about demon slayer season 3 we will let you know.
