So we got some latest news about the Haikyuu Season 5. Now it’s been almost two years since Haikyuu season 4 came out. Although Haikyuu season 5 was supposed to come out after season four. The Coronavirus pandemic most likely delayed the production schedule for season 5 pushing its release date back. With Haikyuu’s Summer fair 2022 taking place in August. Fans are hoping to get the latest news about Haikyuu season 5. In today’s article we’re gonna talk about the possibility of season five’s confirmation and what the next season may offer to the fans. The anime revolves around the volleyball team of karasuno high school as they make their way up. The way back to the top is fueled by the new Karasuno team powered by Hinata Shoyo and Kajayama Tobio the weird power combo of Karasuno.
The series has been a recipient of critical acclaim and has now reached one of its final arcs in the anime after the end of the Haikyuu manga in July 2020 having 402 chapters in total. Haikyuu’s season 4 left us at the end of the Nationals being played in Tokyo as Karasuno successfully faced off in Arazaki high beating the formidable Miya twins in a nail – biting showdown. With Haikyuu season 4 only starting with chapter 207 and stretching up to chapter 292 there is plenty of content left to adapt probably for a Haikyuu season six two. On the occasion of the 10th Anniversary in 2022 there were announcements featuring Ayumu Murase, Kaito Ishikawa and new illustrations that Furiuate sensei drew for Jump Festa. Four projects have been revealed at Jump Festa 2022 among them are haikyuu exhibition final and a new radio web drama written by Haruchi Furudate. Unfortunately no news about season five was announced till then.
However recently there is an announcement from Haikyuu’s official website. There will be a Summer fair started on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Animate nationwide. The fair will end on Sunday, September 4th, 2022. There is a very high possibility that news about season five or any other project for Haikyuu will be announced then.
Also in case you didn’t know Haikyuu day is coming very soon. It’s next month on the 19th of August, in Japan they celebrate this day as the Official Haikyuu day. So looking of all these events that will be taking place next month, my guess is we will probably get some new info about haikyuu season 5 in August. But again as of now while I am writing this article season 5 of Haikyuu has not been officially announced yet and that’s why there is no official release date for it.
