As we know, one of our favourite Anime My Dress-Up Darling is going to be end in the next week. Because, we are almost at the end of the winter season that means most of the winter animes will be ending very soon. me of them have already ended this week and next week, we will be saying goodbye to a few others animes.
We just got episode 11 of My Dress-Up Darling anime recently and according to official sources the first season of this anime is going to have 12 episodes in total. So the next episode, episode number 12 is going to be the final episode of the season. In case you are not sure exactly when we will be getting episode 12, it will be released next saturday on the 26th of March. Now going to the main topic many of you are probably wondering what will happen next once the first season ends will there be a season two or the series will end with just a single season is there enough source material for a new season, the answer is yes.
My Dress-Up Darling anime is being adapted from a manga written by Shinji Fukuda it is still ongoing and has currently got eight volumes the anime has covered the first 37 chapters within the first 11 episodes and most likely it’s going to end with episode 12 covering chapter 37 to chapter 39. Chapter 39 is the last chapter of volume 5 so that leaves only three volumes which is sadly not enough for a new season but you should not forget that the manga is still ongoing so we don’t really have to worry about the lack of source material but it will surely take them a while to reach the point where there will be enough chapters available for season two. Also you should keep in mind that just because there will be enough source material available at one point that does not confirm that it will get a second season because it also depends on how successful the first season of the anime has been in terms of revenue and popularity if we talk about the popularity I would say it has been one of the most popular series of winter 2022. Even the manga has been selling very well so personally I think there is a very high possibility of getting a second season for My Dress-Up Darling anime. So let’s just wait for the final episode which is releasing next saturday I hope they will give us some information on season 2 once the final episode of My Dress-Up Darling anime gets released.
