Hello everyone I hope you are doing well. So recently we got some latest updates about My Dress – Up Darling. My Dress – Up Darling gained a huge fan base in a short time while airing. So it is no surprise that fans of this Anime including me are waiting for the next season to come out. In today’s article we are gonna talk about the possibility of season two’s announcement, how much the anime will cover from the source material and how many chapters are left to be covered.
Without further delay let’s jump into today’s hot topic. My Dress – Up Darling is a Japanese Manga series written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda. It began serialization in Square Enix’s Young Gangan in January 2018. The anime series adapted by Clover works aired from January to March 2022. In season one, we get to see the sweet relations building between Wakana Gojo and Marin Kitagawa. In second season, we are expecting to see the lovebirds doing genderbend cosplays and make new friends along the way.
It is to be noted that the first season had covered total five volumes containing 39 chapters and there have been nine volumes of manga released yet. So it is easy to assume that the second season will cover in a similar manner which may start from chapter 40 to chapter 79 depending on the episode numbers. Although there have been several tweets and leaks about season two in production many of them were identified as rumors and not solid news. So the second season of My Dress – Up Darling has not been officially announced yet.
However it is possible that a My Dress – Up Darling season 2 announcement could take place at Aniplex Online Fest 2022. My Dress – Up Darling is one of 19 anime titles being featured during the streaming event but it’s also one of the few where a future anime production hasn’t been announced yet. The event starts streaming at 8 p.m Japanese standard Time on September 24th.
