So yesterday, we got episode 12 of the Anime Reincarnated as a Sword and it was the final episode of the first season. So the first season of Reincarnated as a Sword has now officially ended. Reincarnated as a Sword Light Novel
Reincarnated as a Sword anime is based on a Light Novel written by Yuu Tanaka. The Light Novel is still ongoing and currently has 14 volumes.
There’s also a manga for this series which is ongoing too and currently has 12 volumes. The anime has only adapted the first two volumes of the light novel. They couldn’t even adapt the total second volume, due to the limited number of episodes they had in season one. They had to find the ending in the middle of volume 2. So there is plenty of source material available for not only season two of the anime but also for season 3 and many more seasons. But it obviously depends on the producers whether they want to continue the series or not.
Reincarnated as a Sword Leak News
The good news is that we already have a leak that confirms that reincarnated as a sword anime will be getting a second season. Just after the premiere of the final episode of season one, the anime news leaker told the fans that reincarnated as a sword season 2 production decision has been made.

We have checked the official website of this series to see if the second season is officially confirmed or not. But sadly we couldn’t find any official announcement there. But it doesn’t mean that it cannot be announced at a later date. The thing is even though the final episode of season one has already been released in Japan, it is still not available internationally. As far as I know, this anime is streaming on HIDIVE exclusively and they are one week behind the Japanese broadcast. So the final episode of the first season for international fans is releasing next week. So it is possible that we might be getting an official announcement for season two next week. But if that doesn’t happen then we will probably have to wait a little longer for the official confirmation. So yeah that’s all for today.
