So we have got some new updates today for the fans of Tokyo Revengers. It’s been more than a year now since we got the first season of the anime. We got 24 episodes in the first season which was produced by Studio Light and films. The second season of the anime was officially announced last year in December. So it’s been almost a year now, since the announcement of season two. But the good news is we don’t have to wait very long for the next season.
Tokyo Revengers season 2 confirmation
It was confirmed earlier that season 2 of Tokyo Revengers Christmas Showdown Arc will be released in the Winter of 2023. And by winter I mean, January of next year. The exact release date for the first episode of season 2 is still not confirmed. But we do have a date when we will be getting some new information on the upcoming season.
Tokyo Revengers season 2 – New Key Visual
According to some sources, new info and a new key visual for Tokyo Avengers season 2 Christmas Showdown Arc will be revealed on the 2nd of November in the weekly Shonen magazine issue 49. So not only we will be getting new information on the season too but also there will be a new key visual. We also have got some sad news for the fans of Tokyo Revengers but it’s not related to the anime. It’s actually about the source material of this series which is its manga.
The manga of Tokyo Revengers will end next month on November 16th as long as no breaks occur. The manga is set to end weekly shown in magazine issue 51.
The first season of the anime adapted the first eight volumes of the manga and ended on chapter number 73 from volume 9. So anyone who wants to start reading the manga can start from chapter number 74. So yeah that’s all for today.
