So it’s been a year since TSUKIMICHI Moonlit fantasy was released and demand for a new season is a hot topic now. In this article, we are going to discuss everything we know so far about the second season of this anime and its release date. So without further delay let’s jump into today’s topic.
TSUKIMICHI Moonlit fantasy is a fantasy anime produced by C2C Studio which is adapted from a Light Novel series written by Kei Azumi and illustrated by Mitsuaki Matsumoto. The story follows Makoto Misumi, who gets transported to a fantasy world to become its hero only to be rejected later for beauty standards. The first season was aired in 2021 upon release the anime got favorable reviews for the story and especially the hero Makoto Misumi. So it is no surprise the demand for a second season will be so high.

Fortunately, on September 22nd, 2021, the official website confirmed a second season after the final episode of season one.

TSUKIMICHI Moonlit Fantasy Season 2 Release Date
Although, there was an announcement made one year ago. No release date has been confirmed till now. But considering C2C Studios’ past experience it should have taken around one year.
Take wandering the Journey of Elena for example C2C made the initial announcement in 2019 and it was released around a year later. But it seems like for this anime, it may not be the same case. My guess is we will probably have to wait till late 2023 or 2024 for the second season but again no release schedule has been officially announced yet. The next season is expected to pick up from the end of season one.
TSUKIMICHI Moonlit Fantasy Season 2 Light Novel
It will most probably start by adapting Volume 5 of the Light Novel series. It’s also possible that they could start the season with a flashback that adapts the chapters that were skipped in season one. In season two, we may see Makoto wanting to enroll as a student but it takes a hilarious turn. It will be a fun season if all goes well. Anyway, no opening or ending song for the second season has been announced yet. The main cast is expected to return this season as well.
We have checked their official website to see if there are any upcoming events where news about season 2 could be revealed. But sadly there are no events or Fest planned for anytime soon.
